Too many of us suffer with pain and excess tension on a daily basis. What we
don't realize is how much we contribute to our problems. Discover how the
Alexander Technique has been helping people for over 100 years take an active
role in managing pain and tension by learning to use the body with less effort
and more ease.
The Alexander Technique, often referred to as "the Thinking Person's Solution
to Pain and Stress" is a practical method for becoming aware of and preventing
the unnecessary tension we often put into everything we do. Many people in the general population use the Alexander Technique to address a
wide variety of problems. By teaching people to change inefficient and
potentially harmful movement and postural habits, the Alexander Technique helps
people learn to deal with issues such as chronic neck, shoulder and back pain,
stress-related conditions, repetitive strain injuries, breathing and vocal
difficulties, among others. Musicians, actors, dancers and athletes often study
the Alexander Technique as well to help improve their performance.
if you’ve been curious about the
Alexander Technique, this is an enjoyable way to find out what it’s about! Wear
