This class is for those who want to learn about themselves in order to better manage aspects of their daily living.

Each session in this class is one hour in length and focuses on a specific topic. Information in the class is based on principles of the Alexander Technique. We will cover a simple procedure to care for your back, strategies for sitting that work with the natural design of your body, techniques for finding freedom and comfort in every breath and tools for walking in a more mindful and easeful way. It is not required that students have had prior lessons in the Alexander Technique or an introductory class.

All classes will be taught by Lauren Hill, AmSAT Certified teacher of the Alexander Technique. Some work will be done on the floor. Students need to bring an exercise mat to class.
